The team of SWS France who is actually working on the Grand Paris Line 14 South extension project for the construction companies NGE-Salini Impregilo, participated to the Saint Barbara’s Celebration which took place on the Morangis construction site on Wednesday December 5th. The Saint is considered the protector of the underground workers, among many others categories, and during the celebration the priest blessed the statue of the Saint and all the participants.
SWS, in joint venture with EGIS, is in charge of the executive design of metro Line14 South (Lot4) which will undercross the Orly Airport taxiways. The construction of the diaphragm walls of service shafts and cut and cover trench is ongoing. The TBM launching shaft of Morangis is under excavation, the break-out will be in spring 2019.
