The work on the Świnoujście tunnel under the river between the Uznam and Wolin islands in Poland continues unabated!
After the realization of the TBM launching shaft and the assembling of the TBM cradle, the JV made up by PORR and GULERMAK is now on the final rush for the preliminary activities before the excavation of the tunnel under the Swinà river begins.
The CREG TBM, a slurry with a diameter of 13.46 m, is now under the assembling phase and the first parts of the bottom shield and main drive are already assembled.
