19 April 2016 | SWS is to take part in the WTC (World Tunneling Congress) to be held in San Francisco from 22 to 28 April. As the leading event in the US tunneling industry, the WTC will involve more than 200 exhibitors and be visited by thousands of professionals.
The congress will provide SWS with the opportunity to present its enhanced presence in North America, where it has offices in Toronto and is conducting major projects in Muskrat Falls and Peace River, in Canada. On 25 April, SWS will take part in the “ITA Building Information Modelling in Tunnels” workshop, at the Moscone Centre starting at 2 p.m. SWS will discuss the benefits of the BIM process in complex tunneling projects, with a particular emphasis on the reduction of risks and costs during execution.
