Yesterday Paolo Mazzalai, SWS Chairman, presented a feasibility study aimed at improving the actual configuration of Trento-Malé Railway line between Mollaro and Segno.
Considering that the existing track is at the surface level, SWS proposed the construction of a top-down tunnel to solve the problematic interface between this historical railway line and the local mobility.
The study was developed by our key expert team, leaded by Stefano Andreatta (Transportation Engineer) and Nicola Tabarelli (Civil Engineer), requiring a challenging coordination between architectural, environmental, transportation and structural requirements.
