SWS Engineering is proud for being part of the Ilva mineral park environmental project. The works have been completed, able to ensure zero dust emissions from the plant and to improve air quality.
The structure, built by Cimolai S.p.A., has requested the construction of 12’000 m of large diameter piles, the provision and the installation of about 100’000 mc of concrete and over 20’000 tons steel. The cover has been completed in 23 months, employing more than 60’000 men per day and respecting the contractual commitments with the client ArcelorMittal Italia.
