Last Friday, SYSTRA participated at the “Tramway Revolution. The evolution of mobility in Italian historic centres: state of art and technological prospects”.
The conference, that was held at Palazzo Medici Riccardi in Florence, addressed the future of mobility needs, urban limits, combined strategies, innovative projects. Paolo Marchetti, Technical Director and Alessandro Piazza, Bologna tram Project Manager, joined the round table discussion entitled “From the preliminary design to the construction management: sharing experiences and ideas for the future”, showing our experience on the Bologna tram project, which is a case study for good technical-administrative management and the relationship between the designer and the contracting authority.
